I am getting sleepy sitting here and thinking about my day.

Woke up around 8:15 and moseyed downstairs to get a traditional "English Breakfast," which was absolutely delicious. If you're at all curious--it's bacon (thinly sliced ham equivalent in the states), a tomato, egg, sausage, BEANS (yum!) and coffee or tea. Haha what's funny is that traditionally the British do not eat a breakfast as large as ours actually has been--they typically eat cereal or a croissant with tea or coffee. I won't complain though--the 'traditiona english breakfast' is soo yummy waking up to in the morning.

After breakfast, I went back to sleep until around noon. Woke up and the girls at my house and I met up with the other students and we went down to the RSC theater. We took a tour of the backstage. We learned that about $50 million pounds of income into the town of Stratford Upon Avon come solely from the plays that the RSC puts on each year. While taking the tour we were able to sit in the seats of the theater as well as go backstage to see the many stage props used for the plays. It was really interesting. We then walked down to the train station to go to Mary Arden's house (Shakespeare's Grandmother). It was quite interesting walking around the property and seeing a lot of the old tools that were rectified from that age. We also had the opportunity to watch a falconry show. It was amazing...we got to see two types of owls that were in captivity. Supposidely, in the wild, these owls could only live to the age of 6 which is the equivalent to age 120, human years. However, in captivity, these owls can live upwards of 55 owl years. I don't even know how many human years that is! haha.

This weekend I am planning on taking a weekend trip to see my mom's best friend Madeleine. She sounds really excited that I will be visiting her. I still have to tell my professors where I'm going and what my plans are--I hope there is no opposition. Lol. Ughh!! I can't wait--and esp to see Paris.

Last night, we allll went out! It was so much fun. We started at around 5pm and I didn't go home until around hmm....12:30am. That was a LONG TIME of drinking hahaha. It was nice though..and we got to know a lot about each other. One thing I can say about alcohol is--it can foster bonding. I think cause it lowers your inhibitions, so you feel less nervous talking to people about whatever. Our professor ACB showed up at some point last night and I'm certain I made a complete ... of myself! hahaha It was nice though.

AHH!! Anyway, It is Father's Day--I feel so bad I am missing spending it with my sweetie and my Daddy. I will have to make it up to them when I see them next, I suppose.

Tomorrow we go see Morte D'Arthur I believe. I have to wake up at 8:15am. I miss everyone back home!! Good night!
