Nude Attitude

By: Becca

In the fall sometimes I try to grab the darkest colored clothing. Just like anyone else, mostly everything I wear consists of jeans, black, or brown. However, the other day I was feeling like getting dressed up and I threw this on in a 5 minutes to get out of the door. The top I actually found thrifting with my brother's gf and the skirt is a Christmas present from one of my besties! :)

Autumn Essentials

Autumn Essentials

I am totally in love with neutrals mixed with pops of color for this fall. My typical outfit in the colder months consists of tall boots, slim trousers and a colorful blouse. As you can tell from my selection I haven't strayed much. However, I think it is essential this fall to incorporate some form of color-blocking. For all you weary color-blockers (such as myself)--don't be afraid to play around with your look! It makes it a lot easier to mix and match with different colors and to not feel so wrapped up in wearing dark colors for the fall!

DYING!

I have been DYYIINNGGG to bake recently. I'm almost certain I get that from my mother. All of my fondest childhood memories are of me sitting at the kitchen table watching her kneading and rolling the perfect pie crust. Lately, I have been seriously craving the baking bug and it seems as though everytime I go to the grocery store I seem to forget major ingredients--baking powder, baking soda, butter, eggs, milk, brown sugar, etc.... As you can see I probably get a little caught up when I go grocery shopping.

I am hoping by at least tomorrow night I will be able to finally get some baking done!! :) In the meantime I should probably get back to trying to find a job. It's so frustrating right now looking for work, but I am trying to keep my head up. I look forward to the day when I can say I am stable and I have a great job and I love it. I realize my first job won't be the "dream job," but at this point I am just ready and rearing to get some experience under my belt!

Anyway, since I won't be posting any baking photos, I decided I would post pics of what's in my purse!
